Picture taking

It seems picture taking is a bit of a no-no here. Today, on my walk around the neighbourhood, I broke out my camera and began taking a few pictures. Not of people, or anything I would perceive as an intrusion... mostly scenery - trees, flowers, etc. I got yelled at. Twice. Couple that with the security guard freaking out at me the other day when I was wandering around the university, and I'm thinking my picture taking may be limited. Hopefully as I make friends with some locals I will look less conspicuous and can get some good shots!
