I’ve stayed at two three star hotels in the past week (I’ve been in Mumbai). I’m not sure who’s giving out these stars, but they sure don’t have any consistency!
Hotel 1:
Holy crappy food. Pretty much inedible.
Service was mediocre (and in India that’s pretty friggin’ rare)
The toilet seat had urine on it when I arrived. Well, I don’t know for sure that it was urine, but it was yellowish and in droplet formation. Fun!
The clincher – pubes in the bed.
Hotel 2:
Yummy food! And good beer!
A pool and gym
Amazing service (they didn’t even think I was rude for being in the middle of a teleconference for my whole ‘intake’. At least they pretended not to care)
Clean! Bright! Nice!
Pubelessness!
In fact, the place was loads better than my 4 star hotel in Pune.
